Where can I download SmartControl?⚓︎

You can download it from Google Play for Android devices and from the App Store for iPhones.

Is it possible to configure the CloudBoxx via FleetControl?⚓︎

The initial configuration of the CloudBoxx has to be done using our SmartControl app. After that, you can see and update the current configuration via FleetControl. The installer has to ensure that the CloudBoxx is working as expected after the initial installation. For this purpose, they can use the testing functionality of SmartControl. Our support team cannot assist you in case of any malfunctions caused by an incorrect or untested installation (refer to our vehicle model specific installation manuals).

What do I do if the cellular connection to the CloudBoxx fails?⚓︎

During installation and configuration of the CloudBoxx, please do not park the vehicle in an area with poor cellular coverage, such as underground parking garages.

How can I test the functionality of the CloudBoxx?⚓︎

For this purpose, use SmartControl’s testing feature.

How do I pair a new key fob or smart card with the CloudBoxx?⚓︎

You can use SmartControl for this. In SmartControl, navigate to an already configured telematics unit and select Configure under RFID & Keyfob. Here, you can see whether any key fobs, RFID cards, or RFID tags are currently configured. Select the key fob, RFID card, or RFID tag you want to configure and follow the subsequent steps in the app.

Which cars are compatible with the CloudBoxx?⚓︎

Every car that has a central locking system. Some features, such as CAN information, are only available for analyzed cars. Please login to FleetControl to see our list of vehicles already analyzed, along with supported vehicle state values and commands.

If I update a telematics unit’s configuration, are all values updated or only the ones that were changed?⚓︎

Only values that were changed are updated.
