Requirements⚓︎

You need to fulfill the following criteria to be able to use Damage Detection:

  • A CloudBoxx generation 1020/4G or higher with a firmware version 2.17.2 or higher.
  • A vehicle of a supported vehicle model. Reach out to our support or your INVERS contact person for a list of supported vehicle models.
  • The vehicle identification number (VIN) and license plate of the vehicle.

Finally, contact INVERS support to have Damage Detection unlocked for your fleet.

Damage Detection requires a vehicle with an installed CloudBoxx. For information on installing CloudBoxxes, please refer to our installation documentation. Follow the installation instructions provided in SmartControl to install the Damage Detection Module and to connect it to the CloudBoxx. For some vehicle models, several alternative installation variants of the Damage Detection Module are supported. You can choose any of them.

Configuration⚓︎

After you have installed the Damage Detection Module, you need to activate the Damage Detection Service for the given CloudBoxx. This can either be done using our SmartControl App, or by going to the vehicle’s Inspect Page within FleetControl.
