Wi-Fi Positioning

You can now use Wi-Fi to locate vehicles with a CloudBoxx mini (firmware 2.9.0 or higher required).

Sometimes, GNSS data can be inaccurate or unavailable due to urban canyons, leading to your customers and field workers not being able to find vehicles. Wi-Fi positioning can provide more accurate data by scanning for surrounding networks, so even vehicles parked in locations with limited visibility can easily be found. You can retrieve a vehicle’s position via Wi-Fi by selecting Locate and then Wi-Fi position in the inspect view or the device quick access.
