Fleet Log⚓︎
General⚓︎
Is Fleet Log always up-to-date?⚓︎
Yes. Events are visible in Fleet Log shortly after being created. This means that you can monitor your fleet, its vehicles, and its trips in near real-time.
What additional events are available with the driving analysis add-on?⚓︎
Purchasing driving analysis grants you access to the following events:
CRASH_DETECTED
HEAVY_BREAKING_STOPPED
CORNERING_STOPPED
SHOCK_DETECTED
MOTION_STOPPED
TILT_STATUS_CHANGED
SPEEDING_DETECTED
Regardless of whether you purchased the driving analysis add-on, you can access the following events:
TRIP_STARTED
TRIP_ENDED
LOW_BAT_ALARM
BOOT
FUEL_LEVEL_ALARM
What do the different map tags refer to?⚓︎
Blue tags are normal vehicle trackings. Nothing unusual has been detected for these trackings. They are clustered together depending on the zoom level. You can select clusters of vehicle trackings to zoom into a more detailed view. Red tags are detected crashes. They are never clustered, so you can easily spot them.
You can click on any individual map tag to view its event data.
Trips and events⚓︎
What is the Speed Threshold?⚓︎
The speed threshold is a configurable parameter in km/h. It is a tolerance range in which traveling faster than the speed limit is not recognized as speeding. Speeding events are only created once the legal speed limit plus the speed threshold is exceeded.
Example
The speed threshold is set to 15km/h and a driver is traveling along a road on which the legal speed limit is 50 km/h. As long as the driver drives below 65 km/h, no speeding event is created. Once the driver travels faster than 65 km/h, the speed threshold is exceeded and a speeding event is created.
Can I send trips to other people?⚓︎
Yes. In the detailed view of an event, use Copy Log Entry Link in the bottom right to create a permalink to your current selection. However, only people with access to FleetControl and to your fleet can view the trip.
Troubleshooting⚓︎
What can I do if I am experiencing delays or lags?⚓︎
This is probably caused by too many events and trips being loaded at once. Try reducing the selected frame of time or filter for a specific event reason by selecting it from the Multiview. If the problem persists, try using another browser to access Fleet Log.
