Do You Need a New Login?

Yes, if you currently use CloudBoxx API credentials or QR codes to access SmartControl.

No, if you already have FleetControl access - those credentials are your INVERS Login. Sign in to SmartControl with these.

Why switch?

• Less complexity: Simplified, secure access across all INVERS products.
• Security: MFA and individual accounts instead of shared tokens.
• Future-ready: Access to new tools like OBD installation, workflows, and improved FleetControl integration.

What You Need to Do

If You Already Have FleetControl Access

1. Download the latest SmartControl app.
2. Select INVERS Login and log in to SmartControl with your FleetControl credentials.
3. Authenticate via two-step verification (MFA).

If You Don’t Have FleetControl Access

Contact your fleet administrator to:

1. Invite you as a user.

2. Assign permissions based on your work:

   For viewing vehicle data only:

   • Vehicles (Read Only) - Required minimum to use SmartControl.

   For installation and configuration work:

   • Vehicles (Read & Write) - Required minimum.
   • Vehicle Lifecycle - Add, configure, and archive vehicles and CloudBoxx.
   • Vehicle Configuration - Adjust vehicle and CloudBoxx settings.
   • Vehicle Commands - Test commands to verify setup.
   • Vehicle Offline Access - Grant offline access to vehicles via Bluetooth.

Tip

You can create your own permission preset for installation and configuration work.

After your administrator invited you, set up two-step verification (required) and log in to SmartControl.

If You’re a Service Partner

Wait for your mobility provider to invite you:

1. Your mobility provider invites your company through Installation & Maintenance.
2. You receive an invitation email.
3. Register your company.
4. Add your team members.
5. Team members access their assigned jobs in SmartControl.

New security requirement: All accounts require two-step verification (MFA). You’ll need to provide a code from your phone or authenticator app when logging in.

New installation capability: With INVERS Login, you can perform both CAN and OBD installations in SmartControl. The CloudBoxx API (Classic) only supports CAN installations.

Common Questions

Can I still use CloudBoxx API?

Yes. The legacy system remains available during the transition. However, new features are built for INVERS Login only.

Do I need to do this right away?

The CloudBoxx API continues to work, but migrating to INVERS Login gives you access to new features and improvements.

Who sets up my account?

Your fleet administrator invites you and assigns your permissions in FleetControl.
