Installation & Maintenance
Installation & Maintenance is a feature that allows mobility providers, service partners or teams, and technicians to collaborate on CloudBoxx installations in new vehicles, vehicle maintenance, or short: Service Jobs. Mobility providers can create installation and maintenance jobs and delegate them to a service partner. Technicians working for the service partner receive temporary, job-specific access to individual vehicles from the mobility provider’s fleet.
The feature enhances fleet security by replacing shared API tokens with specific permissions. Long-time customers no longer need to create personalized API keys that either give access to the whole fleet or require constant updates. Now, you can limit access to just the jobs at hand, preventing uncontrolled access. New customers can easily give technicians time-limited access to only the vehicles they are working on, using email-based login instead of API tokens.

These service partners can be external contractors or an internal team of a mobility provider. Users are the technicians working for the service partner or in a service team.
